- WHAT IS DEFAULT PERCUSSION MAPPING
-

-
- You need to define a percussion mapping for your specific synth.
-
- Yes I know, and furthermore, for specific Drum kits on my synths. What I
- was interesting in finding out I suppose, was the mapping that you had used
- initially in the Drum Libraries. "a" for instance seems universally used
- as a Kick, and some of the others are also somewhat easy to figure out, but
- many are not. This does create opportunity for experimentation though....
- I guessed that perhaps you were using a General MIDI setup, but it seems
- not to be the case.
-
- The original mapping was made for Roland MT-32, which was later used as
- a base when general MIDI drum mappings were decided, so there are some
- similarities but probably some differences, too.

-
- From old sediment layers I found this, probably valid.

-
- The tonality is defined in mt-32 atom. When you evaluate it you can see
- the notes.
